I'm gonna be a teacher!

I just found out that I made it into the Credential Program here at Masters! I am so excited! I wasn't feeling very confident about how my interview went yesterday, but the feedback I received today was very good. I am so thankful. God is so good. He has been teaching me so much about trusting Him with everything. It is hard, but I am learning. I am excited to start the program in the fall and student teach next spring. I know that it will be a challenging year, but I am getting really close to being able to do what I have wanted to do for most of my life...teach!

Spring Break

I only have a few days of spring break left. This is what I have been doing.

Yes I've gone to the beach a few times now. And for once I'm not completely burned. YAY!! I was using spf 50 though. :o) I am such a delicate person. That picture is Santa Monica from Monday and Wednesday I went to Malibu. It was so nice to relax and listen to the waves. It is so different in NorCal. For one thing you can't wear shorts at the beaches there. Big difference.

spring break is almost here

well, there has been a change of plans. I'm not going home for spring break. I disappointed that I won't be able to see my family, but I think i will get more rest if I stay here. I have been so tired lately and need the time (without 2 days of driving) to relax and get ahead in some of my classes. So thats the plan. I have some friends who are going to be around so I won't be alone or anything. I'm just really excited to not have classes for a week and get some much needed sleep. :o)

I'm seeing Green!

So here is the highlight of my semester!!!

Thursday night I went to Hollywood with my friends and we saw "Wicked"!!! It was so incredibly amazing! I have had the CD for several months now and listen to it all the time. So I knew all of the songs. It was such a fun musical. There were funny, happy and sad parts (not all at the same time of course). If you ever get the chance to see it DO IT!!

If you don't know, it is the story of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch before Dorthy lands in Oz. It is fun to see how they turn out the way they do. I LOVED IT!!!

Here are some pictures from the evening.

All dressed up for Hollywood!

No one actually bought the program, we just got to take a picture with one :o)

they cost $20!!! outrageous!!

My friend, Stacy, bought me a ticket for Valentine's Day. So sweet! We all wanted to go together and I couldn't afford it. Master's bought a block of 100 tickets so they only cost TMC students $35. What a deal!!

It was such a nice break from homework! And I'm coming home for a few days next week!! I'm so excited for the break! The Lord knows I need it!
