PUMPKINS!

Yay for Fall!

I love fall. I love the colors. I love the weather. I love the warmer clothes I can wear. I just love it all!! A group of us headed out to the pumpkin patch over the weekend. This picture is post-corn maze. Praise the Lord we made it out. :o) It was a lot of fun.

Even though it was tons of fun at the pumpkin patch it made me miss the friends I have in So Cal. I was remembering the pumpkin patch I went to last year. I miss you Michelle, Ryan, Jack and Lindsay!! I thank the Lord for all of the friends He has given to me, both far away and near by. God is so good.

My pumpkin as of tonight. :o) I haven't carved a pumpkin in years. It was fun.

My art blog

I've decided to start another blog. I will still be blogging here, but I wanted to start one about the art classes I am teaching. So check it out sometime. www.1sttimeartteacher.blogspot.com
Right now there isn't much to it, but I plan on adding to it soon. :) Hope you are having a great weekend!

Give Me Jesus

In a couple of weeks my church choir is going to be singing this song. Unfortunately I will not be there that Sunday. I am so disappointed. This is such a moving song. Reading the lyrics does not do the song credit. The music is extremely beautiful and I feel convicted everytime I sing or hear it. I recommend finding this arrangement on itunes or somewhere else. (arranged and orchestrated by Robert Sterling)

In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.
You can have all this world, but give me Jesus.
And when I am alone, give me Jesus.
You can have all this world, but give me Jesus.
And when I come to die, give me Jesus.
You can have all this world, but give me Jesus.

What a great reminder that Jesus is so much more wonderful than anything this world can offer us.
